It was visible that the developers were not prepared for it. But it was more than what they expect as over 1000 players tried to log in and play this massive game. The original plan was to at least cater 200 players on its initial release last January 6. This is only a hump on their masterpiece and vowed to come back better and more prepared.
In their official website, the lead developer and creator of the remake, put into details on why they have to temporarily stop the project. The initial launch of the project already encountered numerous errors such as multiple servers crashed. FreeSO started their works already but unfortunately, they pull the plug. Legions of fans were excited when they heard that a private developer is doing an unofficial remake of Sims Online.
